The launch of the International Business and Economic Research Conference at the Islamic University of Gaza

The activities of the conference has started out at the Islamic University of Gaza ,that is organized by the BERC project and funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus + Program, which is implemented by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Islamic University Of Gaza.

The conference is launched with patronage of Dr. Sabri Sedam, the minister of the Palestinian higher education. And will be synchronized with Birzeit University via Skype. It is scheduled to continue on Monday and Tuesday 4/5 March 2019.

The conference will be attended by Dr. Nasser Farahat, President of the Islamic University of Gaza, Prof. Mohamed Meqdad, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Dr. Sadiq Abu Soliman, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Al-Azhar University,Dr. Maher Ajour, Vice President of Academic Affairs at College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Samir Safi, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, and Dr. Wael Al Daya, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference.

The conference activities will be  participated by each of Dr. Sabri Sidem, Minister of Palestinian Higher Education, Dr. Nidal Al-Jayousi, Director of Erasmus + Office in Palestine, Prof. Henri Gujman, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Birzeit University, and Dr. Samir Al-Najdi, Vice President of for Academic Affairs. at Al Quds Open University, And Dr. Samia Al-Batma, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Birzeit University.

The conference' opening session was attended by a gathering from economist and businessmen from the economy, management, trade sector and from private and non-governmental sector institutions, and representative of partner institutions in "Developing The Capacities Of The Business And Economic Research In Palestinian Higher Education Institutions" BERC project,  and they are: the Islamic University of Gaza, Al Azhar University, College of Applied Sciences, Birzeit University, Al-Quds Open University-Ramallah, and a large group of faculty and students in economics and administrative sciences.
