Initiating Training Week Activities "Qualitative Analysis" at Huddersfield University- United Kingdom

As a part of Develop the Capacity of Business and Economic Research eenters at Palestinian Higher Education Institutions "BERC" project funded by the European Union under Erasmus + program.  Al Quds Open University and Birzeit University participated in a training workshop held at the University of Huddersfield- United Kingdom from 30 Oct. 2017 to 3 November 2017.

The workshop was attended by six faculty members specializing in administrative and economic sciences, as well as project coordinators from the Jerusalem Open University and Birzeit, while 15 participants from Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip were unable to participate because of not being granted permits from the occupation

The training includes various topics in econometrics, financial marketing, international economy, international strategies in higher education, and other topics in the fields of administrative and economic sciences, presented by a number of professors specialized in these subjects.

On the last day of the training workshop (Thursday, 2 November 2017), the 9th managment meeting was held. It was attended by the project coordinators from the Islamic University (which administers the project), Al-Azhar University, the University College of Science and Technology from the Gaza Strip. The project coordinators from Al Quds Open University, Birzeit University , The British University of Huddersfield, the Italian University of L'Aquila and the Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden participated in the meeting via the Google Hangout technique.



 

 


During the management meeting, the coordinators from each partner university presented the progress of work on the project.
