The Faculty of Commerce at Islamic University of Gaza finalizes the preparations for an international events and workshops hosted by the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (KTH)

Under the upcoming activities of Developing Business & Economic Research Centers at Palestinian Higher Education Institutions "BERC" project funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program for the year 2015-2018,   the Faculty of Commerce at the Islamic University represented by the project team,  Dr. Wael Al Daya -project manager finalizes the preparations for an international events and workshops in Sweden for project partners and there team. At the present time the academic staff from the Islamic University of Gaza that represented by  eight members from the Faculty of Commerce and represented member from External Relations Affaires prepare to attend the events at KTH University on 20/ November/2016.

The team will take part in training courses for a full week in the field of Networking and Scientific Publications at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (KTH), which is considered as a partner in this project.  

The fourth meeting of the project will be conducted at KTH- Sweden. The Project European partners includes: University of Huddersfield – UK; University of Almería- Spain; University of L’Aquila- Italy and KTH Royal Institute of Technology- Sweden. While  the Palestinian universities: the Islamic University of Gaza,  Al-Azhar University, the University College of Applied Sciences, Al Quds Open University, and the University of Birzeit.

Dr. Al Daya- project manager at the Islamic University of Gaza pointed for the exerted efforts made by project staff during the prior period to organize for this international events including coordination with local and European partners. Dr.  Al Daya presented the difficulties that may stand against the functioning of activity in case not being able to travel  of the participants from the Gaza Strip, and in the case of not being able to travel, it has been prepared to hold the events at the Islamic University and communicate with partners in Sweden via Skype technology.
